Trudi Sue (Peka) Nevala, age 46 of Wolf Lake, Minnesota passed away on August 20, 2019. She was born to Isaac and Marilyn Nevala on August 14, 1973 in Litchfield, MN. She graduated from Sebeka High School in 1991. Trudi had many accomplishments throughout her life, including serving in the U.S. Army for four years, working as a Phoenix police officer, and as a registered nurse. But her greatest joy and blessing in life was her daughter Hope. Family meant everything to Trudi. She had a special bond with children and her love impacted many little hearts, especially her nieces and nephews. Trudi also took every opportunity she could to thank Veterans. She blessed them in many ways including using her talent of painting. When God placed a person on Trudi’s heart, she would paint a flag or a cross and hand-delivered it if she could. She had such a giving heart and a passion to serve others. Her renewed faith and ministering to others became her purpose in life. Trudi will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Hope, her mother Marilyn Nevala, siblings Zane (Mindi) Nevala, Ross (Christine) Nevala, Dawne (Robert) Loper, Katie (Job) Aho, Jolene (Jared) Aho, Jared Nevala, Luke (Renata) Nevala, Marissa Nevala, and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Trudi is preceded in death by her daughter Jacqueline, father Isaac Nevala, brother Chad Nevala, niece Angel Aho, maternal grandparents John Wilfred and Lea Simonson, and paternal grandparents August and Hilda Nevala.
