Sylvia Kyllonen

Sylvia Ellenore Kyllonen, Park Rapids resident, passed on March 13, 2022, at the Heritage Living Center in Park Rapids, Minnesota. Sylvia was born on November 24, 1930, to Selina and Aale Grangruth. Sylvia attended school in Menahga, MN. Sylvia married Walter Kyllonen on March 17, 1948. Out of this marriage five children were born, Geraldine, Judy, Brian, Vicki, and Rodney. She loved to do varies activities including bowling, painting, going to casinos. She also liked baking for classroom parties and bake sales. Her games of choice were scrabble and cards. Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband; Walter Kyllonen, parents; Selina and Aale Grangruth, daughter, Geraldine, Sister, Elsie Pearson, and brother; Ed and her stepfather Isaac Wiita. She is survived by her sons; Brian Kyllonen and Rodney Kyllonen, Daughters; Judy Cox and Vicky (Michael) Bowen, two nieces; Dyanne and Donna, nephew, Fred, twelve grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren and great great grandchild. She will be missed by many.
