Susan Marie Benjamin

Susan Marie Benjamin, age 61 a Park Rapids, MN area resident, passed from this life to eternal life on, December 19, 2021 at her home. Susan was born on June 8, 1960 in Park Rapids, MN to Gordon and Jane (Niska) Dennis. She was raised in Park Rapids. She attended Park Rapids school and graduated from the high School in 1978. Susan was married to Wes Benjamin in 1980 in Park Rapids, MN. To this union Clayton was born. Susan and Wes moved to California for a couple of years. They moved back to Park Rapids to work on the Benjamin family farm. The farm was organic, and this led Susan to love organic gardening. She enjoyed her small hobby farm and caring for her chickens and goats. She helped rebuild her home and loved doing the work herself. Susan enjoyed hunting, riding horses, crafting, and was a collector. She is survived by her son, Clayton Benjamin (Stephanie Domski) , Sister; Shari ( Jim ) Emerson, Brothers; Ernest ( Kathy ) Dennis, Paul ( Diane ) Dennis, and a large extended family. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Jane (Niska) Dennis. Memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Jones-Pearson Funeral Home in Park Rapids, MN, Reverend Loren Firch officiating.
