Richard Allen Crane

RICHARD A. CRANE August 21, 1942 – July 24, 2020 Richard A. Crane, age 77 of Park Rapids, Minn. passed away July 24th, 2020 at the Heritage Living Center with his family by his side. Richard was born on August 21, 1942, one of 12 children, to the late Robert and Eleanor (Springcolt) Crane. He was married to Marion (Conklin) Lane who was the love of his life and soul mate of 54 years until her passing on June 24th, 2019. He lived and worked in Detroit Lakes, MN until 2011 when he and his late wife Marion moved to Park Rapids, MN. He will be dearly missed by those who loved and knew him. He is survived by his 3 step-children: Wanda (Mark) Pearson of Mankato, MN, Dan (Kari) Lane of Detroit Lakes, MN, and Terry (Donna) Lane of Park Rapids, MN; 9 step-grandchildren; 16 step-great-grandchildren; 2 sisters: Diane Abfall of Fountain Hills, AZ, and Pat (Gary) Doele of Ft Myers, FL; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; 6 brothers; and 3 sisters. There will be a Graveside Service at a later date.
