Myron Dean Ready

  MYRON DEAN READY April 19, 1954 – November 18, 2019           Myron Dean Ready, age 65, passed away Monday, November 18, 2019, at CHI St. Joseph’s Hospital, Park Rapids, MN.       He was born April 19, 1954, in Wahpeton, ND to Albert and Betty (Rossum) Ready.  He was raised and grew up to manhood in Wahpeton where he also graduated from Wahpeton High School in 1972.  Following school, he married Pamela Nelson in 1973 and they had three children: Michael, Crystal, and David.       He worked in manufacturing for 3-M for many years and also delivered milk for F/M Jobbing in Fargo, ND.       Myron enjoyed music, playing guitar, played in several bands, singing karaoke, singing in church and especially loved old-time gospel music.  He also enjoyed singing in many coffee houses and nursing homes.  He was an avid fan of the Minnesota Vikings and the MN Twins.  He knew every name on these two teams.        Myron is survived by his wife and best friend, Melissa Dudley Ready who he married August 27, 1996; his three children: Michael (Marcia) Ready of Heron, S.D., Crystal Ready (Jason Smith) of Moorhead, MN, and David Ready of Breckenridge, MN; six grandchildren: Zoey (Kyle), Michael Jr., Shaun, Marissa, Aden, and Jason; three sisters: Kay (Lyle) Green of Breckenridge, MN, Karen (Bob) Batzlaff of Cornville, AZ, and Linda (Larry) Janich of Brownsville, TX.; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many close friends.       He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and two brothers: Roger and Craig.       Memorial services will be held 11 AM Friday, November 22, 2019, at the Assembly of God Church, Park Rapids, MN with Pastor Tim Wilson officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the church on Friday.  Inurnment will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Wahpeton, ND.       To leave online condolences or to view the video tribute please visit www.jonespearson.com
