Marjorie Agnes Holmquist Sept. 16, 1947 – July 16, 2022 Marjorie Agnes Holmquist, age 74, a longtime Menahga, MN area resident, peacefully slipped from this life to eternal life on Saturday, July 16,2022 at the Essentia Health Medical facility in Fargo, ND. Marge was born on September 16, 1947 in Milwaukee, WI to Mary Bialucha. It was in the Browerville, MN area that she attended public school and grew into womanhood. After she graduated high school, she met the most handsome man in the world, Dale Holmquist and they were married August 26, 1967. Their marriage was blessed with five children: Allen, Larry, Roger, Linda, and Jeni. In October of 1997 they moved with their family to Menahga where Marjorie gained employment with RDO and various other employers. Marge loved spending her spare time “cheating” at rummy, going out to eat and working on challenging crossword puzzles. Her life was deeply saddened by the death of her soulmate, Dale on April 3, 2007. Marge especially loved spending time with her family and very much enjoyed helping with her precious grandchildren. She will be lovingly remembered by her five children: Allen of Nevis, MN, Larry of Menahga, Roger of Alexandria, Linda (Patrick) Jones of Menahga and Jeni (Byron) Jones of Menahga; ten dearly loved grandchildren and six precious great grandchildren. Marge was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Dale. Funeral services are being planned for 11 AM Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at the Cardini-Pearson Funeral Home in Menahga. Her casket bearers will be Allen Holmquist, Larry Holmquist, Roger Holmquist, Pat Jones, Byron Jones, and Gregg Spencer. All her grandchildren and great grandchildren will serve as her honorary casket bearers. Interment will be made in the Menahga City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM on Tuesday, July 26 at the Cardini-Pearson Funeral Home in Menahga and will continue Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.
