Linda Fay Johnson, age 74, entered the glory of Heaven on September24, 1923 at her home near Osage, MN.
Linda was born in Omaha, Nebraska on January 24, 1949, to Joseph and Mary (Wingate) Strazdas. Her early years of education were fulfilled at the Mason Grade School in Omaha, NE and
Central High School also of Omaha. She finished her public High School education at Thomas Jefferson High in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She worked for a number of years as a Lozier for Pete & Pete Trucking and also for Yellow Freight. She loved the Lord and attended the First Church of Nazarene in Council Bluff Iowa and the Grace Community Church of Osage, MN. She devoted her life to making a warm and loving home for her husband and children. She was active in her communities and served in the Eagles Club and Black Powder Reinactments, and was interested in Quilting, Beading, Scrap booking and card making. She donated to many worthwhile nonprofit organizations. She loved all things Christmas and believed you should hold it in your heart year-round.
She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Derek (Marcia) Hazen Joseph Johnson and her two step-daughters: Buffy Behrens and “Sissy” Judy Agersea; a sister, JoAnne Leeper; eight grandchildren: Douglas Behrens, Jennalee Hough, Dalton Behrens, Tristan Agersea, Joseph & Autumn Williams and Jeffrey & Odin Marshall; eleven great grandchildren: Kobi Ferris. Savannah, Brynleigh and Douglas Behrens; Arianna, Richard & Faithlynn Hough; Lindi and Lylah Agersea; Lwazi Mifilika II and Savannah Williams.
Memorial services are set for 11 AM Saturday, October 28 at the Grace Community Church in Osage with Rev. Paul McKibben officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to the Jones-Pearson Funeral Home in Park Rapids.
