LARRY LYLE MCMAHON

April 27 1942 - October 11, 2024

Larry Lyle McMahon, age 82, passed away on October 11, 2024. Larry was born on April 27, 1942 in Park Rapids, MN to Lyle (Mac) and Bertha (Johnson) McMahon. Larry attended school in Akeley, MN.

He married Sharon Peterson in 1961 and had two children, Larry Jr. and Jennifer. He worked as an interior designer, lineman, law enforcement, truck driver and transportation. 

Larry married his current wife Kimberley Hughes in 1994 and to this marriage four children were born, Byron, Brad, John, and Jeff. 

Larry loved to hunt, reload, fish, read western books, listen to country music, watching western movies, and being with his family. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, kindness, and helping anyone in need.

Larry is survived by his wife Kimberley McMahon, children: Larry McMahon Jr. of Akeley, MN; Jennifer (Mike) Quinn of Monticello, MN, Byron McMahon of Akley, MN, Brad (Brandi) McMahon of Osage, MN, John McMahon of Nevis, MN, Jeff (Noel) McMahon of Shelvin, MN; his grandchildren: Michelle ( Craig) Runquist, James Quinn, Bria McMahon, Brooke McMahon, Colt McMahon, and Leanne McMahon; great grandchildren: Mason Runquist and Rhett Runquist; adopted sons: Charlie Moorehouse, Mike Glander, Bill Kellner. He will be remembered by all his family members and friends.

Larry joins both grandparents, parents, infant brother, and sister Elaine young.

Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
