Kari Marie Kahlstorf

Kari Marie Kahlstorf, age 33 of Plummer, MN Formerly of Lake George, Minnesota, died at her home on Thursday, March 23, 2023.

Kari Marie Kahlstorf, the daughter of David and Pam Kahlstorf, was born October 22, 1989, in Bemidji, MN. She attended public school in LaPorte, Minnesota, where she graduated from the LaPorte High School in 2008. She graduated college with an associate degree.  

As a young woman she worked housekeeping and maintenance at the River View Hospital in Crookston. She also worked for DIGI-KEY Company in Thief River Falls. She was blessed with twin boys Caiden and Nickolas and one daughter, Pyper.

Kari loved the outdoors, especially when she was able to snowmobile or ride her dirt bike. She loved fishing and deer hunting.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Caiden, Nickolas, and Pyper,  her parents: David and Pam Kahlstorf of Lake George, Minnesota; one sister, Amy (Scott) Winkelman of Bismarck, North Dakota; Special friends: Eric Halvorson of Plummer, Minnesota and Betty Halvorson of Madison, Minnesota; three nephews: Tucker, Trevor, and Tanner.

Kari was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Ken and Evelyn Juvrud; paternal grandparents: Orlon and Viola Kahlstorf; Eric’s father Charles Halvorson.

A Funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 31st at Jones Pearson Funeral Home in Park Rapids, Minnesota. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home.
