Judith Diane Harsha

Judith Diane Harsha, age 78, of Park Rapids, MN, peacefully passed from this life to eternal life on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at the CHI St. Joseph Hospital. Judy was born on May 31, 1943 in Park Rapids, MN to Jesse and Marvel Reko. She attended public school and grew into womanhood in Park Rapids. Following high school, she went on to attend the St. Cloud Beauty College where she earned her license in cosmetology. On February 22, 1968, she was united in marriage to Rodger Dean Harsha at the United Methodist Church in Park Rapids. Together they raised two sons: Eric Stewart and John Rodger. Judy worked at many local beauty salons and also operated her own shops in the Park Rapids area. Judy loved the outdoors. She had a profound love for horses, she loved to garden, hunt and fish and go bowling with her friends. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her sons and her extended family. Her life was deeply saddened by the death of Rodger in 2015. She will be lovingly remembered by her two sons: Eric and John both of Park Rapids; her dearly loved 7 grandchildren; her brother, Joe (Wendy) Reko of Loveland, CO; as well as many nieces and nephews. Judy was also preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Cindy.
