Geraldine Ann Kyllonen-Eisele

 

 

                Geraldine Ann Kyllonen-Eisele, age 70, of Menahga, MN, suddenly and unexpectedly departed this world on Monday, October 1, 2018, at the St. Cloud Area Hospital.

                Geraldine was born on September 21, 1948, in Park Rapids, MN to Walter and Sylvia (Grangruth) Kyllonen.  She graduated from the Lennox High School in Lennox, CA in 1966.  After high school, she served a short stint in the United States Marine Corps.  Geraldine dedicated herself to her work in whatever job she had.  She formerly had worked as a waitress, a dispatcher, for Hughes AirCraft and also managing a Radio Shack Store.  She gave her best and admirable work in whatever job she had.  In Menahga, she had worked at Chuck’s Grocery Store and then later had started working at the Senior Center serving the community.  She also coordinated the local Meals on Wheels Program and volunteered her talents with the local Food Shelf. She took care of her parents in their declining years.  She visited her mother almost daily until the time of her passing on Monday.  Geraldine loved Menahga and the people she met here-and they loved her back.  She will be missed by all.

                She will be lovingly remembered by her three sons: Michael (Jeannie) Kyllonen of Fargo, ND, Daniel (Jeanne’) Eisele of California and Mark Eisele of St. Cloud, MN; her 12 dearly loved grandchildren: Sam, Joseph, Thomas, David, Robert, Kevin, Dan Jr, Bryan, Heather, Melinda, Kyle and Tyler; her 10 precious great-grandchildren; Her mother, Sylvia Kyllonen of Menahga, four siblings: Judy Cox of CA, Brian Kyllonen of Michigan, Vicki Bower of CA and Rodney Kyllonen of Menahga; Seven nephews: Josh, Andrew, Devon, Drew, Matt, Ian, Christopher and her favorite niece, Renee; as well as many cousins and other loved ones too numerous to count.

                Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband, Alan Eisele of CA and her father, Walter.

                Memorial services will be held 3 PM Sunday, October 7, 2018, at the Cardini-Pearson Funeral Home in Menahga.  Her sons will serve as her urn bearers.  Inurnment will be made in the Alajoki Cemetery in the family plot.  A time of visiting will begin at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.  Following the service, there will be a time of fellowship and refreshment at the Menahga Senior Citizens Center.
