Corinne Anna Zeller Stein

Corinne Anna Zeller Stein, 90 a Park Rapids, MN area resident, peacefully passed from this life to eternal life on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at the Heritage Cottages in Park Rapids, MN.

Corinne was born on April 11, 1933, in Miles City, MT to William and Evelyn (Westman) Collins.  She graduated from Park Rapids School.  On December 12, 1952, Corinne was united in marriage to Virgil Zeller in Park Rapids, MN.  Their union was blessed with two sons, Jeff, and Rick.  Virgil passed September 8,  1981. Corinne met Joseph Stein and the two were married in Florida. Joseph passed away in 2018.

She was a home maker and she became a realtor and sold real estate in Minnesota, Florida and Washington DC.

Corinne was a long time and faithful member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church of Park Rapids.  She was a member of the church choir and loved singing and sometimes would sing Karaoke with her husband Joe. While living in Florida, she sang the National Anthem at a Texas Ranger spring baseball training game.

She liked to write whimsical poems, enjoyed baking, and also loved family get togethers.  

She had an affection for playing piano and had several Grand Pianos throughout the years.  She always wanted a white grand piano and finally found one in the cities.  We later found that it had belonged to Karl-Anthony Towns from the Minnesota Timber Wolves.  She did not know him, nor did she care.  She had her dream white grand piano.  

She will be lovingly remembered by her children:  Jeff (Pat) Zeller of Park Rapids, MN, and Rick (Audrey) Zeller of Park Rapids, MN.  five dearly loved grandchildren: Jenna Zeller of Bemidji, MN, Jessica (Adam) Pogatschnik of Avon, MN, Kallie Zeller of Park Rapids, MN, Amy (Tony) Petrie of Bemidji, MN, Kari ( Simon) DeBlieck of Cambridge, MN, eight precious great-grandchildren; and brothers: Louis (Carol) Collins of  Bemidji, MN and Phillip Collins of Stillwater, MN as well as other relatives and friends.

Corinne was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, and three brothers: Tom Collins, Jim Collins, and Harold Collins.
