Conrad wayne Bruce

Conrad Wayne Bruce, age 51, a life-long Park Rapids, MN area resident, passed into eternal life on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at the Heritage Living Center in Park Rapids. Conrad was born on September 21, 1970 in Bemidji, Minnesota to Conrad and Shirley ( Petersen ) Bruce. Conrad was born premature. He needed to stay in the hospital for a month after his birth. It snowed very heavy the day they brought him home from the hospital. Conrad grew up in Ulen, Minnesota for the first 5 years of his life. As he started school his family moved to Park Rapids. In 1989 he graduated high school from Park Rapids. Conrad went to Wadena Tech after high school for communications. On June 22, 1996, Conrad married Amanda Crist. He met her in 1993 at Hardy’s where they worked. Their marriage was blessed with two sons: Robert and Matthew. They later divorced. Conrad found employment at Team Industries and was employed for 15 years. His last employment was with Warnicks Janitorial. Conrad loved dogs. He saved a dog when he was younger at the age of 9. His favorite time was spent with family having cookouts, campfires and playing all sorts of games. He loved playing video, card, and dice games. He went camping, fishing, and hunting to name a few things that he enjoyed outdoors. He will be lovingly remembered by his sons: Robert and Martha ( Andersen ) Bruce, Matthew Bruce, and Adam Bruce; his mom, Shirley ( Tim Greenwood ) Bruce; brother, Tom and Sarah Bruce, and large extended family. Conrad was preceded in death by his father, Conrad Bruce; his brother, Troy Bruce; his aunt, Mary Lee “Pete” Petersen, and his grandparents. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, October 30, 2021 at the Jones-Pearson Funeral Home in Park Rapids. Reverend Loren Ferch will be officiating.
