Bruce M Converse

Bruce Myron Converse, age 88, of Wadena, MN died Monday August 21,2023 at the Fair Oaks Nursing Home in Wadena. Bruce was born on March 24, 1935 in Albert Lea, MN to Myron and Lavetta (Crandall) Converse. As a young man, he entered the United States Marines and served in the Korean War from 1953 – 1956. After receiving his honorable discharge, he entered the work force and drove truck for 50 years. He is survived by his five children: Larry (Joan) Converse, Debbie (Dan) Dickman, Teresa (Larry) Holmgren, Mark (Priscilla) Converse and Lori (Curt) Farlinger. As well as nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters: Marilyn Martinson, Rosemary Beckjorden and Jane Nasby. Graveside services will be held on 2 P.M. Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at the Preston State Veterans Cemetery in Preston, MN
