Brian Donald Luedtke, age 71, of Verndale, MN, died in his home surrounded by his family after making a valiant fight against heart disease.
Brian was born on September 30, 1951 in Estherville, Iowa to Donald William Arthur and Maxine Marie (Donahoe) Luedtke. He was in the lst grade when his parents moved to Minnesota. He attended grade school in a country schoolhouse. In the 7th grade he attended Parkers Prairie High School where he stayed for High School as well. When he was old enough to start working; his job selections were diverse. He loved to work on cars. He also worked as a plumber and a painter. In his spare time, he loved to hunt and fish. He especially anticipated deer hunting each fall, almost like a kid waiting for Christmas with all of his anticipation and preparation.
He will be lovingly remembered by his five daughters: Rhonda (Jarrett) Sanderson, Laurie Schultz, Ginger (Thomas) Metteer, Heather Stoecker, Crystal (Brandon) Vigdor; l stepson, Steven; ten dearly loved grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and two more on the way; two sisters: Patricia (Don) Gordon and Luanne Chambers; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Maxine Luedtke; brother and sister-in-law, Barry and Patsy Luedtke his wife, Barbera Hadler and a granddaughter, Tanisha Sanderson.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday April 29 at the Cardini-Pearson Funeral Home in Menahga with visitation beginning at noon.
