Barbera Lee Hadler, age 61, of Verndale, MN., passed away unexpectedly at her home on August 30, 2018.
Barb was born on January 31, 1957, to Alfred and Harriet (Snook) Wright in Fergus Falls, she moved often during her childhood, and attended Park High School in Minneapolis.
Barb had been married four times throughout her life and had come full circle in being reunited with the love of her youth, her first husband, Brian Luedtke. They enjoyed many years together.
Barb was a CNA and personal caregiver and had worked for Tender Hearts Home Care of New York Mills and Tri-County Care of Vandalia, MO and the Caring Hands Home Care of Sebeka of for numerous years as well as other occupations in the area.
She enjoyed making crafts such as; wallets, key chains and especially dream catchers! Spending time outdoors was a passion of Barbs, like tubing down rivers and time on the lake with family. She also had a quick sense of humor that always brought laughter. She will be remembered by her loved ones for being there in their time of need. Barb would drop anything at any moment to help or protect her loved ones. Attending concerts and events for her grandchildren brought great joy to her life.
Barbera is survived by her soulmate, Brian Luedtke; four daughters: Rhonda (Jarrett) Sanderson, Laurie Schultz, Ginger (Thomas) Metteer and Heather (Sam Carlson) Stoecker; eight grandchildren: Patrick, Cora, Dalton, Aron, Azalie, Destiny, Kash and Samuel II; four great-grandchildren: Lilly, Lucille, Harper and Harvey; one brother, Randy Eastling; many other relatives, friends and her favorite dog, Paco.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tony Gwatney; granddaughter, Tanisha Sanderson; 3 brothers: Roger Wright, Ronald Wright, and Rocky Eastling; 3 sisters: Elaine Zumbrunen, Sandra Shevchuk, and Debra Black.
Memorial Services will be held 2 PM Saturday, September 22, 2018, at the Cardini-Pearson Funeral Home of Menahga. Her granddaughter, Destiny Gwatney will provide special music. Her urn bearers will be her four daughters who will honor their mother with a special love offering. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Following the service, a luncheon will be hosted by the family at the Guy L. McDermott VFW Post #6206 in Menahga.
