Augustina Hilden

Augustina Guzman Hilden August 28, 1947- December 22, 2024 Augustina Guzman Hilden (Tina) was born to Narciso and Purificación Guzmán on August 28,1947 in Austin, TX. She was raised in Erie, MI and graduated from Mason High School in 1967. Tina later moved to Lansing, MI where she married her beloved Ernie on October 6, 2001. She worked for Blue Care Network of Lansing until retirement. Afterward, Tina and Ernie moved to Park Rapids, MN and later to Osage, MN. Tina finished her race on Sunday, December 22, 2024. Tina loved sunflowers, and she loved to cook for her husband, Ernie. She was a faithful member of New Life Community Church in Park Rapids, MN. She loved to worship the Lord and pray with her husband. She also loved her family and friends, who would ultimately have joyful tears running down their faces when Tina erupted in uncontrollable laughter. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Narciso and Purificación Guzmán. 

She leaves behind the love of her life, Ernie Hilden, to cherish her memory, as well as her brothers and sisters: Soila (Ernie) Contreras of Loris, SC; Anna Maria (Temo) Hernandez of Toledo, OH; Narciso, Jr. (Brenda) Guzman of Monroe, MI; Jesse Guzman of Phoenix, AZ; Delfina (Lupe) Pedroza of Laredo, TX; Joe Guzman of Phoenix, AZ; Valentina (Douglas) Kelley of Raeford, NC; Esther Davidson (Norman Dentsted) of Menahga, MN; Elma Jununten of Zimmerman, MN; Evelyn Kako of Park Rapids, MN; Andrew (Shirley) Hilden of Deerwood, MN. She also leaves many special nephews, nieces, and friends who she kept very close to her heart.

Visitation for family and friends will be at the Jones-Pearson Funeral Home in Park Rapids, MN on Sunday, January 5, 2025 from 2-4pm (CST). Funeral services will be held at New Life Community Church in Park Rapids, MN on Monday, January 6, 2025 at 1pm (CST).
