FUNERAL SERVICES: 11 AM Saturday, Feb. 21, 2009 at the St. Peters Catholic Church, Park Rapids INTERMENT: St. Peters Catholic Cemetery, Park Rapids ALBERT A. SRNSKY May 25, 1915 ~ February 17, 2009 Albert Srnsky, age 93 of Osage, Minnesota, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at St. Marys Hospital in Detroit Lakes, MN. Albert was born on May 25, 1915 in to Frank and Anne (Trnka) Srnsky in Goodridge, MN where he received an eighth grade education in a country school near his home. His family moved to the Tabor /Angus, Minnesota area in the 1930"s. Albert worked on the family farm and on neighboring farms. He was united in marriage to Delvina Boutain on October 29, 1940 and the young couple settled in the Angus, Minnesota area where they farmed and raised five children. In 1963 they sold their farm and moved the family to Kent, Washington where he found employment in the public school system as a head maintenance man. In 1977 he retired and they returned to their beloved Minnesota. They lived on their daughter and son-in-law"s farm in Osage, Minnesota where he enjoyed and prospered in his retirement years. Albert is survived by his wife of 68 years, Delvina Srnsky of Osage, MN; five children, Janet (Philip) Broesch of Hayden, ID, Kenneth (Nancy) Srnsky of Elkins WV, Patsy (John) Randall of Osage, MN, Kathy Srnsky of San Antonio, TX, and Randy Srnsky of Kent, WA; fifteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; one sister, Rosalie Callery of Kent, WA; and many nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Bill and Emil and one sister, Alice. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at St. Peter The Apostle Catholic Church in Park Rapids, MN with Father Thomas Friedl officiating. Organist will be Joy Horejsi. Music will be provided by the St. Peters Alleluia Choir. Active Casketbearers will be David Cameron, Josh Lage, Mike Thoreson, Delacey Randall, Randy Broesch, and Jerod Randall. Interment will be made at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Cemetery, in Park Rapids. Arrangements made with Jones-Pearson Funeral Home of Park Rapids, MN.
