Margaret was preceded in death by: her son, Larry Isola and grandsons, Matthew and Marc Isola. MARGARET C. ISOLA March 16, 1921 ~ April 12, 2009 Margaret C. Isola, 88, a resident of Greenwood Assisted Living in Menahga, MN, died Sunday, April 12, 2009, at St. Joseph"s Hospital in Park Rapids. Margaret was born March 16, 1921, in Ottertail County, Butler Township, MN to Tony and Ellen (Holecek) Johnson. Margaret attended school at Butler and Spruce Grove through the eighth grade. Margaret was united in marriage to Walfrid Isola on February 24, 1943, at Evergreen Parish, Evergreen, Minnesota. To this union, five children were born: Daniel, Anthony, Larry, Margene, and Lori. Margaret devoted most of her life to raising her family, helping work on the family"s small farm, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed taking casino trips with her kids, Walfrid, and her two sisters. Margaret was a life time member of the Wolf Lake VFW Auxiliary. She was also a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Menahga, Minnesota. Friday, April 17, 2009 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Menahga, MN with Reverend John Ramsbacher officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2009, from 5-8 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at the Cardini-Pearson Funeral Home, Menahga, MN. Casketbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons: Mike Isola, Brent Isola, Joel Olson, Eric Petersen, Brian Petersen, Nathan Krause, Ryan Krause, and Dylan Isola.
