FUNERAL SERVICES: A graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Milum Cemetery in Leadhill, Arkansas. VISITATION: One hour prior to the graveside service at the cemetery.INTERMENT: Milum Cemetery, Leadhill, ArkansasSURVIVORS: Jackie will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Roger Lambert of Nimrod, MN; her daughter, Myra Lynn Brisco and her husband, Gary of Harrison, Arkansas; her daughter in law, Paulette (Orben) Toliver of Fort Smith, AR; her five grandchildren: G.T. Brisco, Sherri (Wes) Townsend, Katrina (Joe) Parrott, Andrea (Derik) Breiner, and Sydney Toliver; 4 great grandchildren; her mother, Florence Carr of Jonesboro, Arkansas; two step-children: Roger Jr. (Laura) Lambert of San Francisco, CA and Rebecca (Mike) Hopkins of Marian, Arkansas; one brother, Jim (Dorothy) Carr of Jonesboro, Arkansas as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. JACQUELINE JOAN "Jackie" LAMBERT February 3, 1938 - April 13, 2009 Jacqueline Joan "Jackie" Lambert, age 71, of Nimrod, MN formerly of Harrison, Arkansas, peacefully entered Heaven"s Gate on Monday April 13, 2009 at the Lakewood Health Systems Hospital at Staples, MN with her loving husband, Roger, at her side. Jackie was born on February 3, 1938 to Albert and Florence (Garner) Carr in LaCrosse, Kansas. Jackie attended public school in Wichita, Kansas where she graduated from West High School in 1955. Jackie was united in marriage to Wayne Huffman in 1960. She had three children: Myra Brown, Rex Brown, and Wayne Huffman. The young family made their home in Diamond City, Arkansas where Jackie devoted her life to making a warm and loving home for her husband and children. She was a wonderful cook and baker who will be long remembered for her delicious home made cooking. Jackie worked for Dr. Samuel Scroggins as the office manager of his Medical Clinic in Harrison, Arkansas in a career that spanned 27 years. Jackie"s life was saddened by the death of her son, Wayne, and her husband, Wayne, who died in 1993. Her life was made complete again by her marriage to Roger Lambert on January 20, 1995 in Diamond City. In May of 1995, the newlywed couple ventured north to Minnesota where they settled on a small ranch near Nimrod, MN and engaged in raising thoroughbred race horses and emus. Jackie had an enthusiastic zest for life and enjoyed being active in the out of doors by camping, fishing and waterskiing. She loved animals and had shown bull dogs competitively throughout Missouri, Colorado and Kansas and enjoyed breeding and raising thoroughbred race horses. She also enjoyed square dancing. Above all, Jackie devoted her life to her husband, Roger, her children and her grandchildren whom she loved with all her heart. Jackie will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Roger Lambert of Nimrod, MN; her daughter, Myra Lynn Brisco and her husband, Gary of Harrison, Arkansas; her daughter in law, Paulette (Orben) Toliver of Fort Smith, AR; her five grandchildren: G.T. Brisco, Sherri (Wes) Townsend, Katrina (Joe) Parrott, Andrea (Derik) Breiner, and Sydney Toliver; 4 great grandchildren; her mother, Florence Carr of Jonesboro, Arkansas; two step-children: Roger Jr. (Laura) Lambert of San Francisco, CA and Rebecca (Mike) Hopkins of Marian, Arkansas; one brother, Jim (Dorothy) Carr of Jonesboro, Arkansas as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jackie was preceded in death by her father, her son, Wayne, and her husband, Wayne. Services and interment will be held 11 AM Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at the Milum Cemetery in Leadhill, Arkansas. Jackie"s casketbearers will be: Gary Brisco, GT Brisco, Sherri and Wes Townsend, Katrina and Joe Parrott, Andrea and Derik Breiner, Sydney Toliver, Roger and Laura Lambert Jr., Rebecca and Mike Hopkins, Duane Swanson, Lou Lambert, Mark Lambert and Barbara Beard. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Creative Community Living at 1500 East 8th Avenue, Winfield, KS 67156 in honor of Rex Brown.
