FUNERAL SERVICES : 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 21, 2009 at the Riverside United Methodist Church in Park Rapids with Reverend Don Bird officiating.VISITATION : 4-7:00 P.M. Sunday, September 20, 2009 at the Jones-Pearson Funeral Home in Park Rapids and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.INTERMENT : Linnell Cemetery near Ponsford, MNSURVIVORS : She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Bonnie (Mike) Miller of Spring Lake Park, MN; her two sons: Carl (Edie) Lymburner and Ken (Donna) Lymburner both of Osage; eight grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. GRACE A. LYMBURNERNovember 18, 1910 " September 17, 2009 Grace A. Lymburner, age 98, a long time Osage/Ponsford area resident peacefully passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at the St. Joseph"s Area Hospital in Park Rapids with her family at her side, after she had suffered a serious fall earlier in the week. Grace was born on November 18, 1910 in Park Rapids to Carl and Mary (Crane) Anderson. At the age of 7, she moved with her family to a farm west of town where she attended District #7 country school and grew into womanhood. On October 5, 1929 Grace was united in marriage to Frank Lymburner. They were blessed with three children: Carl, Kenneth and Bonnie. The young couple engaged themselves in dairy farming in Carsonville Township northwest of Osage, MN for many years. Grace took special pride in their quality herd of registered Jersey cattle. She was a devoted wife and mother who dedicated herself to making a warm and loving home for her family. Grace was a wonderful cook who will be long remembered for her delicious homemade fried chicken, potato salad, baked beans and devil"s food cake. Grace would often work late into the night sewing, crocheting or knitting to meet the needs of her family. The many afgans she made for her family are cherished heirlooms. In her younger years, she looked forward to springtime when she would plant a large vegetable garden which she nurtured into fruitful abundance to can for her growing family. She also enjoyed raising beautiful flowers into colorful splendor for all to see and enjoy. In addition to homemaking, Grace worked for eight and a half years as a seamstress for the Munsingwear Company in Park Rapids. Later she gained employment for the Wringer Mfg. Co. in also in Park Rapids where she continued working for 21 years until her retirement in 1977. Grace always kept herself immersed in the community. She was a long time member of the Riverside United Methodist Church where she enjoyed being part of the "Faithful Friends Circle". Grace also enjoyed taking part in several interdenominational bible studies in the Osage area. For many years, Grace belonged to the "Cozy Clan Homemakers" while she lived on the Ponsford Prairie. When she moved to Osage in 1975, she became involved with the "Come As You Are Homemakers". Grace also deeply enjoyed her involvement with the St. Joseph"s Hospital Auxiliary over many years. She was especially proud of the rare and prestigious award she received in August for being a member of The Order Of The Eastern Star for 80 years. Above all, Grace devoted her life to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren who she loved with all her heart. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Bonnie (Mike) Miller of Spring Lake Park, MN; her two sons: Carl (Edie) Lymburner and Ken (Donna) Lymburner both of Osage; eight grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Grace was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her two brothers: Lewis and John; her first born grandson. Bobby Lymburner who died in 1964; and three great grandsons: Logan Stevenson and Andrew & Connor Packard. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 21, 2009 at the Riverside United Methodist Church in Park Rapids with Reverend Don Bird officiating. Casketbearers will be Grace"s grandsons & great grandsons: Bill Lymburner, Tom Lymburner, Paul Packard, Dean Miller, Steve Lymburner, David Lymburner, Blake Lymburner, Levi Stephenson & Corie Lymburner. Honorary casketbearers will be Grace"s granddaughters & great grandchildren: Jill Stephenson, Carrie Trombley, Grace Lymburner, Ashley Miller, Anna Trombley, Ava Trombley, Charlie Trombley, Nathaniel Chambers, Allison Litzenberg, Jennifer Lymburner, Amanda Lymburner, Alexis Stephenson, Lisa Lymburner & Laken Lymburner. Linda Szuszitzky will be the organist. Congregational hymns will be: "Precious Lord Take My Hand", "How Great Thou Art" & "Amazing Grace". Interment will be made in the Linnell Cemetery near Ponsford, MN. A luncheon will be hosted at the church following the service for all to attend. Visitation will be held from 4-7:00 P.M. Sunday, September 20, 2009 at the Jones-Pearson Funeral Home in Park Rapids and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
