FUNERAL SERVICES : 1:00 P.M. on Friday, November 20, 2009 at the Cardini-Pearson Funeral Home in Menahga, MN with Reverend Art Skoog officiating.INTERMENT : Menahga City Cemetery.SURVIVORS : Vivian is survived by her son, Clyde Ollila of Menahga; three sisters, Impi White of Sebeka, MN, Sylvia (Walter) Arola of Mountain Iron, MN, and Viola Schindeldecker of Park Rapids, MN; and many nieces and nephews. VIVIAN OLLILA August 17, 1924 ~ November 4, 2009Vivian Ollila age 85 of Menahga, MN, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at the St. Joseph"s Hospital in Park Rapids. Vivian was born on August 17, 1924 in Hubbard County, Minnesota to Jake and Tilly (Kuusi) Erkkila. She was raised and attended school in Wadena County. Vivian was united in marriage to Victor Ollila on October 12, 1941 and was blessed with two children, Shirley Jane and Clyde victor. She was a loving wife and mother. She cherished her time with family and friends. Vivian was employed at the Badoura Nursery and was a life time member of the Menahga V.F.W. Auxiliary. Vivian is survived by her son, Clyde Ollila of Menahga; three sisters, Impi White of Sebeka, MN, Sylvia (Walter) Arola of Mountain Iron, MN, and Viola Schindeldecker of Park Rapids, MN; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Jake and Tillie Erkkila; husband, Victor; daughter, Shirley Jane; and brothers, Arnold, Arthur, Raymond and William. Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, November 20, 2009 at the Cardini-Pearson Funeral Home in Menahga, MN with Reverend Art Skoog officiating. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday. Special music will be "Angels Among Us", "When I Get Where I"m Going" and "Go Rest High On That Mountain." A luncheon will be held at the Menahga V.F.W. following the service for all to attend.
