FUNERAL SERVICES : Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., February 16, 2010 at St. Paul"s Lutheran Church in Evergreen, MN with the Rev. Tony Cloose officiating.VISITATION :Visitation will be held from 10 A.M. to 12:00 Noon on February 16, 2010 at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Wadena. INTERMENT :Interment will be in the Quittschreiber family plot located at St. Paul"s Lutheran Church Cemetery at Evergreen.SURVIVORS :Joel will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Donald and Ann Quittschreiber of Frazee, MN; his sister, Denise (Frank) Evangelista of Severn, Maryland; his brother, James (Barbara) Quittschreiber of Frazee; as well as six beloved nieces and nephews and 7 precious great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his house parents: Harry and Judy Dahlin and his many friends. JOEL MARK QUITTSCHREIBER February 5, 1963 " February 11, 2010 Joel Mark Quittschreiber, age 47 of Wadena, MN and formerly of Frazee, MN peacefully passed into Eternal Life on February 11, 2010 at the Parkview Group Home surrounded by his loved ones. Joel was born on February 5, 1963 in Detroit Lakes, MN to Donald and Ann (Janu) Quittschreiber. As a boy, Joel moved to Sauk Centre, MN where he attended school until his graduation in 1983. Following his graduation, Joel moved to Wadena, MN where he has resided at the Pembina Group Home. Joel was an active participant at the Sebeka Day Activity Center where he performed a variety of outside jobs. He loved the out of doors and especially enjoyed boating and fishing on the area lakes. Joel was an avid bowler and loved to follow the MN Vikings Football team where he was a big fan of Vikings Linebacker #52, Chad Greenway. Joel was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and was placed in the care of the Tri-County Area Hospice. Although Joel did live with limitations and handicaps on this earth, he is now experiencing a life without limitations in the full splendor and glory of his Heavenly Father. Joel will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Donald and Ann Quittschreiber of Frazee, MN; his sister, Denise (Frank) Evangelista of Severn, Maryland; his brother, James (Barbara) Quittschreiber of Frazee; as well as six beloved nieces and nephews and 7 precious great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his house parents: Harry and Judy Dahlin and his many friends. Joel was preceded in death by his grandparents, two aunts, and an uncle. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., February 16, 2010 at St. Paul"s Lutheran Church in Evergreen, MN with the Rev. Tony Cloose officiating. The casket bearers will be Joel"s cousins and nephew: Dennis Quittschreiber, Michael Quittschreiber, Gerald Byer, Mark Byer, Leland Ellenberg and Darwin Bachmann. Interment will be in the Quittschreiber family plot located at St. Paul"s Lutheran Church Cemetery at Evergreen. Visitation will be held from 10 A.M. to 12:00 Noon on February 16, 2010 at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Wadena.
