FUNERAL SERVICES : will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, May 3, 2010 at the Cardini-Pearson Funeral Home in Menahga, MN with Reverend Steven Bruer officiating.VISITATION :INTERMENT : will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery in Park Rapids, MN. SURVIVORS :She is survived by her sister Blanche Trangsrud (Badger, Minn), sister-in-law Lois Markstrom (Thief River Falls, Minn), and several nieces and nephews. "TONI" HULDA MARKSTROM OLTMAN March 11, 1905 ~ April 29, 2010 "Toni" Hulda Markstrom Oltman, 105, passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2010. Toni was born March 11, 1905 in Roseau, Minn. the daughter of Herman and Amelia (Pederson) Markstrom. She grew up on the family farm with eleven brothers and sisters before moving to Minneapolis to work. While working in Minneapolis, she met Douglas Oltman. They were married June 19, 1946. Doug and Toni lived in Edina until retirement, when they moved to rural Nevis, Minn. In 2000, they moved to Green Pine Acres Nursing Home in Menahga, Minn. Toni enjoyed frequent visits with family, gardening, bird watching, playing cards, traveling, and reminiscing about early life on the farm. Her family will remember her smile and fantastic sense of humor! She is survived by her sister Blanche Trangsrud (Badger, Minn), sister-in-law Lois Markstrom (Thief River Falls, Minn), and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Amanda, Myrtle, Mildred, Ruby; and brothers, Art, Ed, Melvin, Carl, Milford, and Ardell. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, May 3, 2010 at the Cardini-Pearson Funeral Home in Menahga, MN with Reverend Steven Bruer officiating. Interment will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery in Park Rapids, MN.
