FUNERAL SERVICES :The memorial service will be held at St. Peter"s Catholic Church in Park Rapids at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, June 12, 2010 with Father Tom Friedl officiating.VISITATION : will be one hour prior to the service at the church.INTERMENT :will be made at the Veteran"s Cemetery at Camp Ripley in Little Falls, MN.SURVIVORS :She is survived by her husband, three children, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, five step-great-grandchildren, her brother George (Jeanne) Goltz, sister Maxine Schroeder, brother in-law Roland Hokanson and many nieces and nephews. SHIRLEY "ANN" WOLFFebruary 27, 1929 ~ May 30, 2010 Shirley "Ann" Wolf, 81, of Nevis, MN died on Sunday, May 30, 2010, at St. Joseph"s Hospital, Park Rapids, MN. Ann was born on February 27, 1929, in Hinckley, MN, to George and Jennie (Edin) Goltz. She attended school in Hinckley and graduated in 1947. She was active in Band, Choir, Cheerleading and other activities. The whole family played instruments in the town band. After graduating, she attended the beauty school in Minneapolis and worked at the Doll Up Salon in Milaca, MN. She married her high-school classmate, Raymond Wolf, on December 30, 1950, in Hinckley, MN. Ray and Ann had three children: Gary (Sandra), of Wahpeton, ND, Janet (Rodney) Sorenson of Nisswa, MN, Gordon (Rochelle) of St. Cloud, MN. The family enjoyed camping during summer vacations and day trips to the lake to swim. Ann started working for Northwestern Bell in 1969 as a directory assistance operator and retired in 1986. In 1988, Ann and Ray moved to Third Crow Wing Lake near Nevis, MN. She enjoyed playing bridge, sewing, knitting, and both Square and Round Dancing. She was a member of St. Peter"s Catholic Church, Pine Tree Homemakers Study Group, Park Rapids Senior Center, Headwaters Bridge Club and the Park Rapids Friendly Squares. She is survived by her husband, three children, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, five step-great-grandchildren, her brother George (Jeanne) Goltz, sister Maxine Schroeder, brother in-law Roland Hokanson and many nieces and nephews. Ann was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Jean Hokanson. The Memorial Service will be held at St. Peter"s Catholic Church in Park Rapids at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, June 12, 2010 with Father Tom Friedl officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at the Veteran"s Cemetery at Camp Ripley in Little Falls, MN. Honorary Pallbearers are her grandchildren: Jason, Aaron and Jennifer Wolf, Rachel and Morgan Wolf, and Jennie Szorcsik. Lunch will be served following the service.
