RYAN ETHAN ALLMON August 25, 1978 " September 1, 2010 Ryan Ethan Allmon, age 32 of Park Rapids, MN, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 in Park Rapids, MN. Ryan Allmon was born on August 25, 1978 to Raymond Eugene and Kathryn Ann (Swanson) Allmon in Ceiba, Puerto Rico. Ryan made his presence known to everyone he met. He was gifted at making you laugh, or feel frustrated and confounded as he was a real character in his own right. Yet he felt things deeply and carried the burdens of his loved ones and friends. He loved the sciences, nature, fishing, wrestling, his art, heavy metal music, Moondance Jam, America and Jesus. He has now become healed from the intense physical pain that he lived with everyday and no one could understand. Ryan will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Kathryn Allmon of Park Rapids; his maternal grandmother, Geneva Swanson; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Victor Swanson and his paternal grandmother, Gloria Stewart. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Sunday, September 5, 2010 at the Jones-Pearson Funeral Home in Park Rapids with the Reverend Dick Jorgenson officiating. Ryan"s mother will serve as the pianist. The congregational hymns will be: "What A Friend We Have In Jesus" and "Blessed Be The Name" Ryan"s special favorite as it was composed by his great uncle, William J. Kirkpatrick. Interment will be made in the Hubbard Cemetery near Hubbard, MN. Visitation will be held 1:00 PM Sunday, September 5, 2010 at the Jones-Pearson Funeral Home.
