ALBERT A. MILLERSeptember 8, 1929 ~ September 28, 2010 Albert Alvin Miller, age 81, a lifelong resident of Wolf Lake, MN peacefully passed away at his home on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 following a short period of illness. Albert was born on September 8, 1929 to William and Ida (Tanney) Miller near Wolf Lake, MN. He grew up near Wolf Lake on the family farm and attended the Wolf Lake District #72 country school. Albert worked on his family farm and also helped several neighbors on their farms as a farmhand. He enjoyed the out of doors, especially fishing and hunting. Albert will be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Albert is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Ida; five brothers: Arthur, Benhard, Waino, Walter and Ernest; six sisters: Emma Basford, Elsie Taylor, Senia Saarinen, Eilean Gulliford, Jennie Karvonen and Elma. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 1, 2010 at the Spruce Grove Apostolic Lutheran Church near Wolf Lake, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services on Friday at the church. Casketbearers will be: John Miller, Eugene Miller, Bobby Miller, Roger Karvonen, Vernon Miller, Earl Gulliford and Delbert Saarinen. Interment will be at the Balmi Cemetery near Wolf Lake, MN. A luncheon will be hosted by the Spruce Grove Apostolic Church following the service.
