TODD ALLEN ROHWERJuly 11, 1961 ~ November 19, 2010 Todd Allen Rohwer, age 49 of Tucson, Arizona passed away on Friday, November 19, 2010 at his home after a lengthy battle with multiple sclerosis. Todd was born on July 11, 1961 in Chamberlain, South Dakota to Thomas and Beverly (Maybary) Rohwer. He grew up in Sioux Falls, SD and moved to Park Rapids, MN in 1978, where he finished his senior year of high school, graduating with the Class of 1979. Todd attended Detroit Lakes Technical College for two years before moving to Tucson, AZ. He managed a recycling center in Tucson for several years and also worked as a heavy equipment operator. He loved sports, fishing and riding his motorcycle. He adored his wife, Kecia. Todd is survived by his wife, Kecia (Tenk) Rohwer of Tucson, AZ; his mother and stepfather, Bev and John Watson of Park Rapids; son, Jerry Rohwer of Duluth, MN; grandson, Jayden; sisters, Teri Hagger of Snellman, MN, Tammy (Dean) Claussen of Tucson and Traci Petrey of Tucson; brothers, Thomas (Nanette) Rohwer of Park Rapids and Timothy (Lanae) Rohwer of Ankeny, IA; stepbrother, Scott (Rita) Watson of Culpeper, VA; stepsister, Kathleen Watson of Holly Springs, NC; grandmother, Ruby Schott of Park Rapids; aunts, Barbara (Ken) Harris of Park Rapids, Carolyn (Ron) Harris of Bemidji, MN, Jill Tessem of Richardson, TX and Betty (Lee) Tobin of Chaska, MN; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Rohwer; grandparents, Dr. Harold and Lucile Rohwer and Robert Schott. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at the Faith Baptist Church in Park Rapids, MN with Reverend Marty Giese officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church. Organist will be Jane Wolff. Congregational hymns will be "Here I Am Lord" and "How Great Thou Art". Special music will be "Precious Lord, Take My Hand" and "You Raise Me Up". Eulogist will be Alan Holk. Honorary Casketbearers will be: Dean Claussen, Richard Harris, Robert Harris, Alan Holk, Daniel Rohwer and Travis Stanfield. Interment will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery in Park Rapids.
