Saturday, April 2, 2011 at the Faith Baptist Church in Park Rapids, MN with Reverend Emily Meyer Officiating.VISITATION : 5 to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, April 1, 2011 at the First Lutheran Church in Akeley and for one hour prior to services at the Faith Baptist Church in Park Rapids, MN.INTERMENT : White Oak Cemetery, Chamberlain, MNSURVIVORS : His mom, dad and sister, Jayden all of Akeley; his maternal grandmother, Margie Mack of Prescott, AZ and paternal grandmother, Gladys Vredenburg of Akeley; his maternal aunt, Tammy Rowland of Prescott, AZ and paternal aunts and uncles: Rick (Juliet) Vredenburg of Watertown, MN, Marv (Beth Otteson) Vredenburg of Nevis, MN, Robin (Bruce) Kriens of Backus, MN, Mick (Kim Hill) Vredenburg of Dayton, MN, Roxanne (Dave) Johnson of Walker, MN, Randy (Crystal) Vredenburg of Cokato, Renee (Tod) Becker and Michelle (Judd) Fischer all of Park Rapids, MN, Melissa (Doug) Gauger of Highlands Ranch, CO and Rod (Carol) Vredenburg of Lakeville, MN as well as 33 cousins who loved Kyle very much. KYLE SCOTT VREDENBURGFebruary 16, 2007 " March 24, 2011 Kyle Scott Vredenburg, age 4, the precious son of Ron and Brandy Vredenburg of Akeley, was very unexpectedly ushered into Heaven following a tragic accident on Thursday, March 24, 2011. Kyle was born on February 16, 2007 in Bemidji at the North Country Regional Hospital. He was baptized at First Lutheran Church in Akeley, MN with his Godparents: Renee and Tod Becker and Michelle and Judd Fischer as witnesses. Kyle was a boy brimming with energy and enthusiasm. He was in constant motion from the time he woke up in the morning until the time his body surrendered to needed sleep each night. He loved to ride his new Spiderman bike, swim, swing and ride ATV with mom, dad and sister, Jayden. He loved hanging out with mom working on projects and playing games. He was his dad"s little buddy and loved to go fishing and help his dad with all kinds of work. He was an enthusiastic hide and seek player with his sister, Jayden and cousins and was also a master snow fort and snowman builder with his mom. Kyle was very creative in building his own motorcycle and car jumps. He enjoyed rigging up stuff behind his bike which he towed around the farm property with pride. Kyle loved playing with his favorite cousin, Tanner. He loved school and couldn"t wait to ride the bus. He was a great little cuddler and especially loved cuddling with his mommy. He loved reading books with his sister, Jayden and his mommy and daddy, especially Spiderman books. Kyle treasured the times he could sit out under the stars alongside a camp fire when he went camping with his family. Above all, Kyle just loved to spend time with all those who loved him. Kyle will be dearly missed by his mom, dad and sister, Jayden all of Akeley; his maternal grandmother, Margie Mack of Prescott, AZ and paternal grandmother, Gladys Vredenburg of Akeley; his maternal aunt, Tammy Rowland of Prescott, AZ and paternal aunts and uncles: Rick (Juliet) Vredenburg of Watertown, MN, Marv (Beth Otteson) Vredenburg of Nevis, MN, Robin (Bruce) Kriens of Backus, MN, Mick (Kim Hill) Vredenburg of Dayton, MN, Roxanne (Dave) Johnson of Walker, MN, Randy (Crystal) Vredenburg of Cokato, Renee (Tod) Becker and Michelle (Judd) Fischer all of Park Rapids, MN, Milissa (Doug) Gauger of Highlands Ranch, CO and Rod (Carol) Vredenburg of Lakeville, MN as well as 33 cousins who loved Kyle very much. He was preceded in death by his grandpa Orville Vredenburg, his cousin Steffie Vredenburg Majors and his great grandpa Paul Mack. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Faith Baptist Church in Park Rapids, MN with the Reverend Emily Meyer officiating. Music will be: "In The Arms of the Angel" by Sarah McLachlan, "A Staircase to Heaven" by Stephen Meara-Blount, "Beautiful" sung by Kyle"s cousins, Hannah and Olivia Fischer and "I Can Only Imagine" by MercyMe. His casket bearers will be his uncles: Rick Vredenburg, Marv Vredenburg, Mick Vredenburg, Randy Vredenburg and Rod Vredenburg. His honorary casket bearers will be cousins, Tanner Becker, Taylor Becker, Hannah Fischer, Abby Fischer and Olivia Fischer. Interment will be made in the Vredenburg family plot at the White Oak Cemetery south of Akeley. Visitation will be held from 5 PM to 8 PM on Friday evening, April 1, 2011 at First Lutheran Church in Akeley, MN. Visitation will also be held beginning one hour prior to the services on Saturday.
