CHRISTINE ANN FELDTApril 6, 1952 " May 2, 2011 Christine Ann "Chris" Feldt, age 59, of the Wolf Lake, MN area, entered eternity in the early morning hours of Monday, May 2, 2011 at the Sanford Health Center in Fargo, ND with her loved ones at her side. Chris was born on April 6, 1952 in Seattle, WA. She endured a difficult childhood and moved from foster home to foster home until she found love, protection and security from a couple who farmed near Wolf Lake named Howard and Lila Peterson. It was in Frazee, MN that she attended public school. Throughout her life, Christine reflected back on her relationship with the Peterson family with praises of love and admiration. During her young life, Christine worked in a variety of jobs throughout the Dakota"s and MN. On September 24, 1980, Chris was united in marriage to Leonard Studnek in Watertown, SD. They were blessed with five children: Chad, Adam, Theresa, Meagan and Jolene. During the course of their marriage they operated a small farm near North Branch, MN where they raised cattle, horses, pigs, ducks and geese. Chris wanted her children to grow up on a farm just as she had enjoyed as a child. In her children, she instilled a love for animals, the land and the wildlife that graced her farm. She derived great pleasure from watching the birds, deer, turkeys and sand hill cranes that she shared their farm with. She always had a pair of binoculars and a bird dictionary within reach. On October 8, 2001 Chris was united in marriage to David Feldt, a man she had known since her early teens. For a number of years they traveled between Burnsville, MN and their farm near Wolf Lake. When David retired from Northwest Airlines, they made their home full time on the farm. She enjoyed reading; especially novels written by Danielle Steele, crocheting, baking, thrift shopping, watching animal planet and being involved in the lives of her children. She loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart and devoted herself to being a very patient, loving and wise mom. She was committed to giving her children a better childhood than she had. Even her children"s friends enjoyed being around her. Her life was fulfilled in her marriage to David. In him she found her soulmate and she loved him with all her heart as well.
