FUNERAL SERVICES : 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 11, 2011 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Park Rapids, MN.VISITATION : 7-9:00 P.M. on Friday, June 10, 2011 at Jones-Pearson Funeral Home in Park Rapids, MN and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.INTERMENT : St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, Park Rapids, MNSURVIVORS : Her parents Richard and Theresa of Park Rapids, MN; brother, Ray (Cheryl) of Glen Ellyn, IL; sister, Kristi (Tom Thompson) of Warrenville, IL; nephew, Andrew Moen and niece, Taylor Moen. LEANN MOENOctober 2, 1962 ~ June 7, 2011 LeAnn Marie Moen, age 48, died suddenly at home on June 7th, 2011, from complications of diabetes.LeAnn was born on October 2, 1962 to Richard and Theresa (Wysoski) Moen, in Milwaukee, WI. At the age of 4 she moved with her family to Lombard, IL, and graduated from Glenbard East High School. She remained in Lombard and Downers Grove, IL until late 2008 when she moved to Park Rapids, MN. She worked as a certified Nanny to 2 families, and graduated from Northern Illinois University, where she began a career as a lab technician. She worked in a Forensic Lab, as well as ConAgra Foods, where she remained until she went on disability due to dialysis treatments. She enjoyed church and bible study. She loved cooking & baking (especially for others), gardening, walking and the outdoors, playing games, and spending quality time with family and friends. She touched so many lives with her inner strength and generous nature, and will be missed dearly.LeAnn is survived by her parents Richard and Theresa of Park Rapids, MN; brother, Ray (Cheryl) of Glen Ellyn, IL; sister, Kristi (Tom Thompson) of Warrenville, IL; nephew Andrew Moen and niece Taylor Moen.Visitation will be at Jones Pearson Funeral Home in Park Rapids on Friday, June 10th from 7-9pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter's Catholic Church on Saturday, June 11, at 11:00am, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Following the service a luncheon will be held at the American Legion in Park Rapids.
