FUNERAL SERVICES : 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 9, 2011 at the Assembly of God Church in Park Rapids, MN.VISITATION : 5-8:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at the Jones-Pearson Funeral Home and for one hour prior to services at the church on Friday.INTERMENT : Greenwood Cemetery, Park Rapids, MNSURVIVORS : His mother and step-father, Tami (Ron) Alden of Park Rapids; his father, Dale Breitweser also of Park Rapids; his 5 siblings: Christine (Jared) Bungum and Josh Breitweser both of Dilworth, Joe (Rachel Olson) Breitweser and Hannah Breitweser both of Park Rapids and Sarah Breitweser at home; step-sister, Megan Alden and step-brother Lucas Alden both of Park Rapids; 6 nieces & nephews: Tori, Jordan, Erin, Lexi, Kimberlee and Jack; his step-grandparents: Bob and Ellie Lampl of Park Rapids. DALE JUNIOR BREITWESERMay 11, 1991 " September 4, 2011 Dale Junior Breitweser, age 20, a life long Park Rapids,MN area resident was freed from this life early on Sunday morning, September 4, 2011 following a single car accident while on his way to work. Dale was born on the opening weekend of fishing, May 11, 1991 to Dale and Tami (Storbakken) Breitweser in Park Rapids, MN. He was home schooled by his mother and graduated in 2009. During his junior and senior years he participated in the Park Rapids Panthers Wrestling Program. He was also involved with the Explorers Law Enforcement program. Dale had a heart for children and had served as a camp counselor for the Lake Geneva Christian Camp. He was a mentor to countless kids in a variety of ways. He would have been a great father. Dale was an ambitious young man who was not afraid of hard work. He was handy working with his hands and had helped his dad build several log homes. He was currently employed as a cook at Bullwinkles in Nevis; but also worked for Dwight Carlson Excavating and Plumbing and for the Rick Edwards Lawn service. For many years, Dale was an active member of the Park Rapids Assembly of God Youth Group. He also faithfully operated the sound equipment for the church services. Dale was secure in his salvation through Christ. He loved the outdoors; especially when he could be hunting or fishing with family and friends. He also enjoyed paintballing and dirt biking. Dale was an avid World War II buff and had built up an impressive gun collection of his own. He loved to play volleyball at Faith Baptist Church on Monday nights. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his parents, brothers and sisters. He especially enjoyed investing his time in the lives of his nieces and nephews who he loved with all his heart. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother and step-father, Tami (Ron) Alden of Park Rapids; his father, Dale Breitweser also of Park Rapids; his 5 siblings: Christine (Jared) Bungum and Josh Breitweser both of Dilworth, Joe (Rachel Olson) Breitweser and Hannah Breitweser both of Park Rapids and Sarah Breitweser at home; step-sister, Megan Alden and step-brother Lucas Alden both of Park Rapids; 6 nieces & nephews: Tori, Jordan, Erin, Lexi, Kimberlee and Jack; his step-grandparents: Bob and Ellie Lampl of Park Rapids; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Dale was preceded in death by his grandparents and his three month old sister, Melissa. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Friday, September 9, 2011 at the Park Rapids Assembly of God Church with Reverend Kris Clark officiating. Interment will be made next to his baby sister, Melissa at the Greenwood Cemetery in Park Rapids. Visitation will be held from 5 " 8 PM Thursday, September 8 with a prayer service scheduled for 7:30 PM. Visitation will also be held beginning one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church.
