ROSALIE ANN WINTERBERGERJune 1, 1937 " November 4, 2011 Rosalie Ann Winterberger, age 74, of Stacy, MN, passed away on November 4, 2011 at the St. Joseph"s Area Health Services in Park Rapids, Minnesota. Rosalie was born on June 1, 1937 in Minneapolis, MN to Melvin and Helen (Hendrickson) Jones. She was one of eight children in her family and had a twin brother. It was in Minneapolis that Rosalie attended Adams Elementary School and Phillip Junior High School. On December 17, 1955, Rosalie was united in marriage to Richard Francis Winterberger in Minneapolis. This union was blessed with two children: Alan David and Laura Jean. In 1964, they moved to Bloomington, MN and then relocated to Prior Lake from 1974 to 1996 before moving to Park Rapids. Rosalie moved to Stacy, MN in 1997 and lived there until she was called home to the Lord. Rosalie took great pride in providing a warm and loving home for her growing family. She was employed with Abbott Northwestern Hospital as a Surgical Tech in Labor and Delivery. She also worked as a Dietary Aid at the Masonic Home. Rosalie"s great joy in life was being a part of the Powder Puff Clown Club and the St. Paul Clown Club. She was a member of the Prior Lake centennial committee and the National Head Injury Foundation. She did counseling at the Abbott NW Hospital and the Women"s Correctional Facility in Shakopee, MN. She was also a supervisor at the Renaissance Festival. Rosalie was very talented and passionate about the arts. Her interests included oil painting, water colors and ceramics. Rosalie will be lovingly remembered by her son, Alan (Sue) Winterberger of Osage; daughter, Laura of Osage, brothers and sister: Marion DeLuney, Richard Jones (twin brother), James Jones, David Jones, Jonathan Jones; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Francis Winterberger; her parents; brother, Thomas "Dean" Jones and half brother, John "Rick" Hendrickson. Memorial services will be held 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home in Prior Lake, Minnesota with Pastor Paul Olson officiating. Interment will be at the Spring Lake Cemetery in Prior Lake. Visitation will be held from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 19th at the Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home in Prior Lake.
