FUNERAL SERVICES : 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at the Assembly of God Church in Menahga, MN.VISITATION : 5-8:00 P.M. on Friday, March 16, 2012 at the Cardini-Pearson Funeral Home in Menahga, MN and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.SURVIVORS : Her husband, Daniel of Menahga; her 2 sons: Rashad and Xander; her mother and father, Luann and Curt Mostrom of Menahga; her brother, Caleb Mostrom also of Menahga; her maternal grandmother, Clara Lou Nevala of Rockford, MN; her paternal grandparents, Walter and Verna Mostrom of Oak Grove, MN; her half-siblings: Ann, Charles, Jr, Jeanie, Renee and Elizabeth. ELISHA ANNE LINCOLNMay 13, 1980 ~ March 13, 2012 Elisha Anne Lincoln, age 31 of Menahga, MN tragically died suddenly from a pulmonary embolism on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at St. Gabriel"s Hospital in Little Falls, MN. Elisha was born on May 13, 1980 in Detroit Lakes, MN to Charles and Luanne (Nevala) Pinkston. She lived with her parents on a farm south of Menahga and attended public school in Menahga. Elisha was an active student at the Menahga Public School where she played flute in the band, played on the girl"s softball team and was a football cheerleader. She was very musical and loved to play the piano. Elisha had a wonderful voice and had a solo part in the Wizard of Oz musical in high school. She graduated from the Menahga Public High School with the Class of 1998. Elisha went on to attend Vocational Technical College in Wadena. On December 20, 2003, Elisha was united in marriage to Daniel Wade Lincoln at the United Methodist Church in Menahga by Rev. Loren Ferch. This union was blessed with 2 sons: Rashad, age 10 and Xander, age 6. Elisha loved being a wife and mother and devoted her life to making a warm and loving home for her family. She was a wonderful cook and baker who will be long remembered for her delicious gourmet cooking. Elisha studied jewelry design and has custom made high quality jewelry since 2001. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed picking blackberries, blueberries and raspberries in the wilds near her home. She had a profound love for animals and as a youngster showed her dog and cat in 4-H competing all the way to state. Each spring she looked forward to planting a large vegetable garden which she nurtured into fruitful abundance. She also loved to raise beautiful flowers and plants into colorful splendor. For several years she competed in karaoke contests and won free tickets to WeFest at the Colgate Country Show Down. Above all, Elisha dedicated her life to her husband, her sons, her mother and her brother, Caleb who she loved with all her heart. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Daniel of Menahga; her 2 sons: Rashad and Xander; her mother and father, Luann and Curt Mostrom of Menahga; her brother, Caleb Mostrom also of Menahga; her maternal grandmother, Clara Lou Nevala of Rockford, MN; her paternal grandparents, Walter and Verna Mostrom of Oak Grove, MN; her half-siblings: Ann, Charles, Jr, Jeanie, Renee and Elizabeth; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Elisha was preceded in death by her natural father and her maternal grandfather, Alvar Nevala in 1993. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at the Assembly of God Church in Menahga, MN with Reverend Robert Smith officiating. Accompanist will be Paulette Smith singing "Amazing Grace" and "No One Ever Cared for Me Like Jesus". Casketbearers will be: Zachary Nevala, Josh Nevala, Ryan Nohrenberg, Mike Cameron, Mike Morgan, Kevin Rollins, Trent Schulte and David Nevala. Honorary casketbearers will be: Cody Schulte, Taya Schulte, Ashley Schulte, Caleb Mostrom, John Nevala, Ryan Dennis, Carissa Ruppert, Moriah Nevala, Jennifer Ratcliff, Calvin Johnson, Letisha Pick, Sheena Lucht and Lashawn Nohrenberg.
