FUNERAL SERVICES : 11:00 A.M. on Friday, February 22, 2013 at Grace Community Church in Osage, MN with Reverend Paul McKibben officiating.VISITATION : 4-8:00 P.M. with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Grace Community Church in Osage, MN and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.INTERMENT : Apostolic Lutheran Cemetery, Menahga, MNSURVIVORS : Her husband, Scott Larimer; her sons: Alex, Spencer, Paul, Nick; her daughter, Libby; mother, Mary Miller; mother-in-law, Betty Larimer; sisters-in-law: Nancy Larimer and Lora Elvira; brothers, Joe (Jodie) Miller, John (Sherry) Redman, Larry, Pat, Gary, Clyde Redman and Jim (Robin) Miller; sisters: Linda (Cliff) Lane, LaRee (Tom) Morris, Kim (Phil) Ylitalo, Mary (Dave) Bush and Laura Redman and her uncle, Cork (Terry) Gee. EVELYN LARIMERAugust 24, 1972 ~ February 16, 2013 Evelyn Marie (Miller) Larimer passed from this world too soon into the arms of her Heavenly Father on February 16, 2013 while having fun with her family. Evelyn was born in Missoula, Montana on August 24, 1972 to Lawrence Redman and Mary Miller. She was raised in Missoula, moving to Frenchtown for junior high & high school. She graduated from Frenchtown High School in 1991 and attended the University of Montana for two years. On May 29, 1993 she married Scott Roy Larimer in Seeley Lake, MT. They spent their first few years of marriage in Missoula where the birth of their first son, Alex took place. They moved to Nebraska to be closer to Scott's family & increased the size of their family by two, with Evie giving birth to their sons: Spencer and Paul. While raising three boys, Evie took a part time position working for Casey's. Later they moved to Minnesota to be closer to her sister, Kim and family. It was here that they completed their family with son, Nick and daughter, Libbie. While raising her family Evelyn became an assistant manager at Casey's. She touched so many lives with her bright smile and positive attitude. Evie loved giving out hugs. She would never let you go unless she gave you a hug first. Her hobbies included gardening, cooking, and most of all spending time with her family. As her kids would tell you, "She was the best Mom in the world."She is survived by her husband, Scott; sons: Alex, Spencer, Paul and Nick; daughter, Libbie; mom, Mary Miller; mother-in-law, Betty Larimer; sisters-in-law: Nancy Larimer and Lora Elvira; brothers: Joe (Jodie) Miller, John (Sherry) Redman, Larry, Pat, Gary, Clyde Redman and Jim (Robin) Miller; sisters: Linda (Cliff) Lane, LaRee (Tom) Morris, Kim (Phil) Ylitalo, Mary (Dave) Bush and Laura Redman; uncle, Cork (Terry) Gee; numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends.Evelyn is preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Redman; father-in-law, Ralph Larimer; Grandma, Muriel Gee; uncle, Sam Gee; brothers: Preston and Billy Redman and niece, Molly Ylitalo.Funeral services will be held Friday, February 22, 2013 at Grace Community Church in Osage MN with Reverend Paul McKibben officiating. The organist is Virginia Schwalm. Paul Frohman will be the vocalist and will sing "The Lord"s Prayer". The congregational hymns will be: "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" and "Amazing Grace". The casketbearers are: Scott Larimer, Alex Larimer, Antti Ylitalo, Jacob Ylitalo, Joe Miller and John Redman. The honorary casketbearers are: Zach Ylitalo, Phil Ylitalo, Douglas Hoff, Timothy Hoff, Joseph Hoff and Katie Ylitalo. Visitation will be held from 4-8:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Grace Community Church in Osage and for one hour prior to the service on Friday. Interment will be held at the Runeberg Apostolic Lutheran Cemetery.
