SHIRLEY A. SIMSAugust 6, 1926 ~ May 4, 2013 Shirley A. Sims, age 86 of Princeton, MN passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 4th at her daughter"s home in Menahga, MN with her family by her side. Shirley was born on August 6, 1926 in Wells, MN to Henry and Hulda Virgin. She graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Teaching. Shirley taught math in Anoka Jr. High School and in Osseo School District. Shirley married Neal Sims on June 9, 1956; this union was blessed with two daughters: Lori and Julie. She lived in Brooklyn Center, Zimmerman, Elk River, and Princeton, in her final stage of her life she lived in Menahga, Minnesota. Shirley is preceded in death by husband Neal. She is survived by daughters Lori Helm (Paul), Julie Hudek (Jim); four grandchildren Richard, Robert, Karie & Katie; nine great grandchildren.
