MEMORIAL SERVICES : 1:00 p.m. Friday July 5, 2013 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Hackensack, MNVISITATION : 12:00 p.m. Friday July 5, 2013 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Hackensack, MN " Eldora Patty Neft, age 75, a long time resident of the Nevis and Akeley areas, peacefully died in her sleep in the early morning hours of Saturday, June 22, 2013 at the home in Akeley she shared with her sister, Lorretta. Patty was born on December 1, 1937 in Minneapolis, MN to Wilbur and Elvina (Sata) Buchite. She grew up in the Fifty Lakes, MN area and graduated from the Pine River High School with the Class of 1958. Patty was united in marriage to George Neft at the Cross Lake Lutheran Church in 1962. She and George made their home in the Emily, MN area until moving to Mpls where they resided for a number of years. Patty has since been a resident of the Akeley/Nevis area for many years. Patty was a faithful member of the Hackensack Seventh Day Adventist Church where she enjoyed worshipping her Savior and the fellowship of the other believers there. She was a woman of many interests. She loved the out doors; especially fishing with family and friends, picking berries and hunting for mushrooms in the wild. In her spare time, Patty enjoyed collecting cook books and knitting and crocheting gifts for her family and friends. Throughout her life time, Patty had an uncanny ability to connect with all animals. Above all, Patty treasured the times she could spend with her family and friends who she loved with all her heart. She will be lovingly remembered by her sister, Lorretta Hardy of Akeley and her brother, Wilmar "Buck" (Susan) Buchite of Fifty Lakes; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Patty was preceded in death by her parents; her younger brother, Virgil and older sister, Yvonne.
