Also, 1 Hour prior to service on WednesdayINTERMENT :Lake George Cemetery, Lake George Township, MinnesotaSURVIVORS : Peggy Lee Miller, age 61 of Lake George, MN, formerly of Princeton, MN, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at the Sanford Medical Center in Bemidji, MN with her loved ones at her side.Peggy was born on December 28, 1951 in McLaughlin, South Dakota to Lester and Beulah (Benzel) Wolfer. As a small girl, she moved with her family to Bock, MN where she attended grade school. She graduated from the Milaca Public High School with the Class of 1969. As a young woman, Peggy ventured to St. Paul where she gained employment with the State of Minnesota. Later she moved to Princeton and began working for the Gorecki Manufacturing Company in Milaca. On April 21, 1978, Peggy was united in marriage to Earl L. Miller in Milaca. Peggy worked along side her husband in their construction company, the E.L. Miller Construction Co., traveling across the United States installing underground utility cable. She quickly learned how to operate heavy equipment and logged tens of thousands of miles driving truck and pulling trailers from job site to job site. They sold their business in 1990. Peggy then gained employment at Westling Mfg. in Princeton and later at the Alltron Mfg. Co, in Ramsey, MN, until her retirement in 2008. Shortly thereafter, she and Earl moved to their new home on Paine Lake near Lake George, MN. Even after retiring, Peggy liked to keep herself busy by working part-time at various jobs in the area, rounding out her career cooking at the Lake George Café. In her spare time, Peggy loved to take cross-country motorcycle or car trips with Earl throughout the United States and Canada. She was a voracious reader and enjoyed fishing and spearing with Earl, often sharing her catch with elderly friends who were unable to fish themselves. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Lake George and served as secretary of the Lake George Sr. Center. Above all, Peggy devoted her life to her husband, children and grandchildren all of whom she loved spending time with whenever possible. Peggy will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Earl; her four children: Dawn (Tim) Fishel of Park Rapids, Vicky Gasparrini of New Hope, MN, Roberta Miller of Champlin, MN and William (Jamie) Miller of Lake George, her ten grandchildren and a host of great & great great grandchildren; her three sisters: Mary Longie of Denver, CO, Donna Vogel of Dickinson, ND and Mildred Sproessig of Princeton, MN as well as many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Eric Fishel.
