Sunday August 11th, 2013 at the family cabin, on Hinds Lake, Menahga, Minnesota ROBERT "BOB" DONALD TAKLE October 29, 1942 ~ August 9, 2013 Robert (Bob) Donald Takle, age 70, of Hamilton, Montana, passed from this world on Friday, August 9 th . Born October 29, 1942 in St. Paul, MN as firstborn of 4 children, to Ira and Joyce Takle. Bob was enjoying time at the lake with family, doing all of his favorite activities. Bob is survived by wife Marlene, of 41 years; Children: Steve McDaniel, Sherri Wilson (Kendall); Pam Mertz (Lou); Yvette Grajeda (Jesse); Suzie Takle; and Andrew Takle (Kristina) and 14 cherished grandchildren: Sean, Adam, Kyle, Jesse Jr, Ayla, Johnathan, Oliver, Jakob, Dylan, Thomas, Nathaniel, Essabella and Kaitlyn. Bob loved sharing his zest for life with his grandkids. He is also survived by Sister Anne (Wil) Harri; Russell (Mary) Takle; and Ray (Elsie) Takle and many nieces and nephews. Bob worked for years in the printed circuit board business. He and Marlene founded Westak in 1972 with his lifelong friend, Ed Westervelt growing the company into the top 15 in the nation. Bob loved the outdoors hunting, golfing, fishing, boating, horses, hiking, skiing and shared this love of Creation with many in his life. He and Marlene have wintered in the Santa Cruz Mountains in California and spent spring and summer in Hamilton, Montana at their ranch. He was the foundation for his family, with exuberance and wisdom beyond this world. Bob was a tremendous storyteller, captivating many with tales of his experiences and escapades in his 70 years with us. He lived to experience all that God created and continually shared that with all those he loved. The adventures were countless. He loved with the same reckless abandoned that he lived. He loved well and was loved. Bob"s generosity was inspiring as he gave from the heart. He lived life on the edge and was always looking for the next adventure. His employees all adored him and many remained steadfast friends long after his retirement in 1995. Many remember his intensity of opinion he often shared regarding his values and patriotic views. There was never a sense of trying to figure out where he stood on an issue, and his sense of humor often caught us all off guard. .And we LOVE HIM dearlyforever. We know love is eternal.
