Skyler Thomas Impola

Skyler Thomas Impola, age 5, went to be with his Jesus on May 1st, 2014. Skyler was born on April 8th, 2009 in Portland, OR, joyfully welcomed by Jethro and Molly (Hanson) Impola. They lived in Yacolt, WA until 2012, when they moved to MN. He treasured his younger siblings, Rystin and Vayah, and looked forward to meeting another soon. Skyler attended Spruce Grove Apostolic Lutheran Church with his family. He loved to sing, create, play with his siblings and friends, help on the farm, and to learn about everything. His questions about Heaven have been answered, his love for Jesus has multiplied. Skyler had a generous, tender heart, and his big smile will be remembered by many. His grandparents, Paul and Esther (Aho) Impola and Tom and Wendy (Barney) Hanson, along with 19 aunts and uncles, and 21 cousins and many friends feel the emptiness of loss, but the hope of meeting him again. Skyler knew many Bible verses that have comforted and encouraged. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me' -Phillipians 4:13. The funeral will be held on Thursday, May 8th at 11:00am at the Spruce Grove Apostolic Lutheran Church, Wolf Lake, MN. The visitation the evening before on May 7, from 7-9pm, also at the church. Pastor Dennis Hannu will officiate. Singing will include Skyler's favorite songs and a song by his Sunday School class. Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be his uncles, Jonas Impola, Phillip Impola, Loren Impola, Justin Impola, Calvin Impola, Naaman Impola, Damen Hanson, Jaden Hanson and James Estola. The interment will be held in the Balmi Cemetery near Wolf Lake
