David John Stensing-Oakley

Beloved baby David John Stensing-Oakley, a very special little angel, arrived to be with us on April 30th, 2014. On May 6th, 2014, he left us to be joined with the Lord due to a very rare heart condition he had. Baby David touched everyone he met in an unexplainable, very special way in the six amazing days he was here with us. He will be missed so much, and by so many. Baby David is survived by his parents: Sherri Stensing of Park Rapids, MN and Jared Oakley of Grand Rapids, MN; Paternal Great Grandmother, Delores Oakley; Paternal Grandparents: Tim and Jenine Oakley of Grand Rapids; Godfather/Uncle, Jake Oakley of Mineral Springs, North Carolina; Maternal Grandparents: Dave and Liz Stensing of Colorado; Godmother/Aunt, Barbra (Josh)Wicks of Park Rapids; Great Aunt, Merry Maurer of Hackensack, MN and cousins: Dylan, Chloe and Isabella Wicks, and Lexiss, Briley, and Madison Oakley, amongst many more loving relatives and friends. Baby David was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandmother, Suzy Parks; Great Grandparents: Marilyn & John Stensing; Great Grandparents: Virginia & Joseph Smith; Cousin, Kristina Lee Brummer; and his Paternal Great Grandparents: Peter and Genevieve Donnell and Robert E. Oakley. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on May 17, 2014 at Jones-Pearson Funeral Home in Park Rapids, MN with a visitation one hour prior to the service at 10 AM. Pastor Stephen Norby will be officiating the service. A gathering after the service will be held at 13923 Flamingo Drive-Park Rapids, MN.
