Jaslynn Hunter Leritz

Jaslynn Hunter Leritz, the eleven day old daughter of Christopher and Ashley Leritz, entered eternal life, far too soon. She was taken from her mom and dad's loving arms; but, they are comforted in knowing that she is sheltered in the loving arms of Jesus. Jaslynn was born on May 5, 2014 at the Essentia Health Medical Center in Fargo, ND. She spent the next eleven days blessing her parents and her sister, Tyler and her brothers, Blake and Christopher Jr. Although her tiny and fragile little body put up a valiant fight; she went home to Jesus on Friday May 16, 2014. She will be forever loved by her mom and dad, Christopher and Ashley Leritz of Menahga, MN; her sister, Tyler Morgan age 9; her brothers, Blake Matthew age 8 and Christopher Jr., age 5; her maternal grandparents: Tracy and Chris Grangruth of Menahga and Marvin Hallikainen of Menahga, MN; her paternal grandparents: Arnold Leritz of Menahga and Brenda (David) Sordahl of Park Rapids, MN; maternal great grandparents: Alon and Loretta Ashby of Webster, Iowa and Ellen Hallikainen of Park Rapids; paternal great grandparents: Lorraine Leritz of Wadena, MN and Lowell and Betty Brooks of Owatonna, MN, as well as numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and other relatives. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM, Friday, May 23, 2014 at the Cardini-Pearson Funeral Home in Menahga, MN, with Jaslynn's second cousin, James Crook officiating. The casket bearers will be Uncle Randy Leritz and Uncle Nick Hallikainen. She will be buried next to her Uncle Johnathon Leritz at the Lady of Our Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Menahga, MN. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
