ALICE MAE (SASSE) KOSKOVICH March 6, 1919 - April 5, 2015 Alice Mae (Sasse) Koskovich entered her heavenly home Easter morning, April 5, 2015, following a massive heart attack/stroke on Good Friday. Seven children were born of this union. Alice and Alex resided in Blue Earth, MN where they raised their family and were members of Salem United Methodist Church. They retired to Osage then Park Rapids where they were members of Riverside United Methodist Church. Alex and Alice lived with a daughter and son-in-law in Sebeka, MN for several years. Alice spent the last four years of her life in Evergreen Lodge Memory Care Center at Northfield Retirement Community. Alice was an accomplished cook, delighting her children and their spouses with their favorite foods whenever they visited. She was an artist in many mediums including oils, watercolors, sketching, mosaic, stained glass, quilting and sculpting. Alice was a poet and a musician; particularly impressive was her ability to play hundreds of songs and hymns by ear on her button box accordion right up until the week of her passing. Alice had an infectious laugh, great sense of humor and especially enjoyed holidays, decorating her home to celebrate each season. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She immensely enjoyed family gatherings and celebrations. Alice was also a woman of deep faith and a faithful servant of our Lord; instilling a deep commitment to her Heavenly Father in her children. She was a shining example to her family and those who knew her; never having an unkind word or judgment of others, and always showing compassion for the underprivileged and marginalized. Alice will be lovingly remembered by her children: Allen (Maria) Koskovich of El Cajon, CA, son-in-law Doug Little of Dundas, MN, Ava (Bob) Williams of Nevis, MN, Amber (Ken) Stadler of Northfield, MN, Ardys (Dan) Sabin of Sebeka, MN, Arlene (Perry) Stenzel of Lakeville, MN, Audrey Mahn (Dan Lemke) of Northfield, MN; 23 grandchilren, 47 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
