Louise K. Loomer

LOUISE KAY LOOMER January 14, 1955 - May 5, 2015 Louise Kay Loomer, age 60, of Park Rapids, MN went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at St Joseph's Hospital in Park Rapids, MN. Louise was born along with her twin sister Lois on January 14, 1955 to Carrol and Donna (Overocker) Loomer in Park Rapids, MN. She attended school at the Faribault School For The Deaf, graduating with the Class of 1974. Louise lived in Park Rapids, working at Ringer Co. and the Sunset Nursing Home. In 1980, she ventured to Denver, CO with her twin sister Lois where she lived until the fall of 1981. Louise then moved to St. Paul, MN and lived with her sister Joyce, where she did babysitting until returning to Park Rapids in 2003. Louise enjoyed knitting, crocheting, doing crafts, drawing pictures and watching birds in the bird feeders. She also enjoyed her pets and fish. Louise is survived by her parents: Carrol and Donna Loomer; sisters: Joyce Loomer and Norma Loomer; and her brother Carl Loomer, all of Park Rapids, MN; Uncle Roy and Aunt Better Loomer of Crystal, MN; Aunt Jane and Uncle John Eischens of Park Rapids; Uncle James Dunn of San Bernadino, CA and many cousins. Louise was preceded in death by her twin sister, Lois Loomer in September of 2013; both sets of grandparents; Aunt Dorothy and Uncle Duane Springer, Aunt Bernice Dunn, Uncle Harry and Aunt Ethel Schief and six cousins. Graveside Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at the Arago-Clover-Evergreen Cemetery north of Park Rapids, MN. Visitation will be held from 1:00 - 3:00 PM on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at the Jones-Pearson Funeral Home in Park Rapids for two hours prior to the Service.
