Dorothy Embree

Dorothy Alice "Dot/Dottie" Embree, age 84, of Park Rapids peacefully passed into eternal life Sunday August 2, 2015 at Heritage Cottages in Park Rapids, MN. Dottie was born September 30th, 1930 to Harry and Ruth Hitchcock. Dottie was married to Royce L. Embree February 6, 1965 and was a member of St. John's Lutheran church. Dottie was a loving wife and mother, and devoted to her amazing family here in Park Rapids Dottie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Steve Kuberski of California; brothers, Philip "Skip" Hitchcock, Richard and his wife; two sister-in-laws, Joyce Hitchcock and Etta Mae Hitchcock from Oregon. Dottie is also survived by a great many loving nieces and nephews and their beautiful families. Dottie is preceded in death by her parents and husband; brothers Donald, Deane and David Hitchcock; and her sisters Dee Lindow and June Terkark. Family wants to say a special thank you to her extended family at Heritage Cottages, who showed her great care and compassion. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Thursday August 13, 2015 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Park Rapids. The family extends an invitation to all who attend the funeral, to join us for a small lunch reception after the services at St. John's.
