Marjorie Pauline Faltersack, age 76, of Park Rapids, MN, formerly of Woodbury, MN, passed into eternal life on Saturday, September 12, 2015 in the beauty and comfort of her own home north of Park Rapids, surrounded by her loved ones, following a valiant battle against cancer. Margie was born on October 10, 1938 in St. Paul Park, MN to Henry and Gladys (Solinger) Chennaux. It was in St. Paul Park that she attended public schools, graduating from Park High School with the Class of 1956. On June 30, 1956, Marge was united in marriage to George A. Faltersack at St. Thomas Catholic Church in St. Paul Park. This union was blessed with three children: Deborah Marie, Betty Lou and Russell George. The young family made their home in Woodbury where Margie devoted herself to making a warm and loving home for her husband and children. In addition, to caring for her family, Marge worked for the Pearson Candy Co. in St. Paul, as an upholsterer for Gerlack Mfg. in St. Paul Park, for Lindsey Water Softener in Woodbury and for the 3-M Corp. in Stillwater. In 2000, she and George retired to their country property north of Park Rapids where they built a new home and were able to enjoy retirement together until George's death in July of 2003. Margie enjoyed filling her spare time with sewing, cake making and decorating, hunting, fishing and snowmobiling. Margie was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Two Inlets, MN for many years and prior to that was a member of the Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Woodbury. She had a deep love and affection for her dog and faithful companion, Tiny. Above all, Margie devoted her life to her husband, her children and her grandchildren who she loved with all her heart. Margie will be lovingly remembered by her three children: Deborah Marie (John) Krisko of Azusa, CA, Betty Lou (Timothy) Eischens of Park Rapids and Russell George (Keesa Gilliam) of Las Vegas, NV; four grandchildren: Jeremy Eischens, Matthew (Rebecca) Krisko, Matthew J. Eischens & Jolene (William) Retz; five precious great grandchildren: Peyton and Tristan Eischens, Nekita and Ian Krisko and Lydia Lou Retz; her sister, Mary Patricia ( Lonie) Poole of Rosemount, MN; and one brother, Henry Joseph (Charlotte) Chennaux of Park Rapids; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her dearly loved husband, George. A celebration of Margie's life will be held at her farm north of Park Rapids at a later date.
