Linda Marie Ware

LINDA MARIE WARE November 27, 1953 - October 2, 2015 Linda Marie Ware passed away peacefully on October 2, 2015 at the age of 61, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Park Rapids, MN after four years with cancer. Linda was born November 27, 1953 in Canby, MN to Ellsworth and Josephine (Linnell) Larson. She was the second born after her brother, Robert Larson. She was baptized February 14, 1954 and confirmed May 26, 1968 at Providence Valley Lutheran Church near Dawson, MN. Linda graduated from Canby High School May 27, 1971. Linda enjoyed many years living in Florida and sang for the Naples Philharmonic for fourteen years. She decided to move back to Park Rapids, MN to be closer to her family and worked at Citizens Bank in town. Linda spent a lot of time with her parents, enjoyed the outdoors and loved her Shelties: Star, Kid and Simba, who were loved like children. Linda will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Josephine Larson of Park Rapids; her niece and nephew: Tracie (Chad) Swearingen of Coon Rapids, MN and Shawn (Leann) Larson of Minneapolis, MN; six great-nieces and nephews: Makenna, Kaden, Laynie and Emma Larson and Kailyn and Braeden Swearingen. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Ellsworth Larson in 2010; and her brother, Robert Larson in 2014. Linda received loving support from her family and wonderful friends, including Citizens National Bank, St. Joseph's Hospice, St. Joseph's Hospital, and the Essentia Health Oncology staff. Funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, October 10, 2015 at the Jones-Pearson Funeral Home in Park Rapids with Pastor David Cripe officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home. Casket bearers will be Kailyn Swearingen, Braeden Swearingen, Emma Larson, Laynie Larson, Kaden Larson and Makenna Larson. Interment will be made at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 25, 2015 at the Providence Valley Lutheran Cemetery near Dawson, MN.
