Suzanne Mae Conley, age 63, of Menahga, MN peacefully passed from this life to eternal life on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 in the beauty and comfort of her own home on Moran Lake south of Park Rapids, with her husband attending to her needs with the help of St. Joseph's Hospice following a valiant battle against cancer. Suzanne was born on March 10, 1952 in Wadena, MN to Howard and Mary (Lemke) Annis. It was in Hubbard that Suzanne began attending public grade school, going on to attend high school in Park Rapids. On June 8, 1968, Suzanne was united in marriage to Joseph C. Conley at the Free Methodist Church in Park Rapids, MN. The young couple made their home in Park Rapids until 1971 when they ventured west to Spokane Washington. In 1974 they moved to Moorhead, MN where Suzanne was employed by the GPK Corporation of Fargo, ND as a production worker in a career that spanned over 19 years. In 2005, Suzanne and Joe retired to a home on beautiful Moran Lake where they have enjoyed their retirement years together. Suzanne enjoyed worshipping and fellowship at the Eastside Christian Church near Hubbard. She enjoyed bible study and following the teachings of Christ. She loved to watch her nieces and nephews play sports and enjoyed playing cards and dominoes with family and friends. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Joseph of Menahga; her sister, Betty (Kenneth) Robbins of Park Rapids and three brothers: Maurice (Charlotte) Annis and Don (Dolores) Annis all of Omaha, NB and James (Janet) Annis of Spokane, WA; as well as many precious nieces & nephews and great and great- great nieces and nephews. Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents; three siblings: Shirley, Barb and David; a nephew, Jerry Robbins and two great nephews. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, October 23, 2015 at the Eastside Christian Church near Hubbard, MN with Pastor Justin Domogalla and her brother, Don Annis officiating. The Pianist will be Penel Jensen. The soloist will be Renee Domogalla who will sing, "Mansion Over The Hilltops" and "Face to Face". The casket bearers will be her nephews: Roy Robbins, Loyd Robbins, Tim Gack, Chuck Andress, Richard Blanchard and Howard Blanchard. The honorary casket bearers will be the rest of her nieces and nephews; great and great-great nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be made in the Hubbard Cemetery. Following the service a luncheon will be hosted at the Hubbard Community Center by the church.
