Elaine M Zumbrunnen

Elaine Marie Zumbrunnen, age 64, of Sebeka, MN passed from life into eternal life Monday evening January 11, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. Elaine was born on October 14, 1951 in Bertha, MN to Alfred and Harriet (Snook) Wright. She grew up in Janesville, MN and attended McKinley High School in Minneapolis. As a young woman she moved to Perham, MN. On September 9, 1983 Elaine was united in marriage to Steven Zumbrunnen in Noel, MO. Elaine devoted her life to making a warm and loving home for her husband, son and daughters. She loved country music and enjoyed dancing. She also loved collecting angels and paying with play-doh. Elaine will be lovingly remembered by one son: Tony Wright of Sebeka; as well as one step-daughter, Joanie Snook of Bentonville, Arkansas; three grandchildren: Thomas, Crystal and Carrie; three sisters: Sandy (Pete) Shevchuk of Mpls, MN; Debbie (Dave) Black of Vandalia, MO, Barbera Hadler of Wadena, MN; one brother, Randy Eastling of Vandalia; as well as many precious nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Tonya Snook; her husband, Steven; and three brothers: Ricky, Roger and Ronald. Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, January 18, 2016 at Sebeka United Methodist Church in Sebeka with Pastor Steven Koehne officiating. Organist will be Denise Dobozenski. Congregational hymns will be “Amazing Grace” and “The Old Rugged Cross”. Special recorded music will be “I Can Only Imagine” and “When I Get Where I’m Going”. Casket bearers will be Thomas Metteer, Jarrett Sanderson, Robin Snook, Angelo Rottelo, Danny Levercom and Aron Metteer. Honorary casket bearers will be Heather Stoecker, Laurie Schultz, Ginger Metteer and Rhonda Sanderson. Interment will be made at Evergreen Cemetery in Sebeka.
