Lucille "Cathy" Cathy Johnson

CATHY JOHNSON November 17, 1946 - July 2, 2016        Cathy Johnson, age 69 of Park Rapids passed away peacefully on July 2, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Minneapolis, MN on November 17, 1946 to Lucian “Bud” and Beryl (Scanlan) Smith.  Cathy has lived in the Park Rapids area since 1983 and worked as a bookkeeper for several of the area automobile dealerships.         She is survived by her longtime companion, Larry Forsyth, her two children Carrie (Wesley) Mowder and Wayne Johnson.  She is also survived by her grandchildren Brian, Nick, Bridget, Suki, Phoenix, and Orion with one more on the way.  Three sisters: Terra, Sherry, and Cindy and one brother Lou.  Along with countless nieces and nephews and extended family and friends who will all miss her greatly.  She was preceded in death by her parents Bud & Beryl Smith, her husband Ed Johnson, and brother Chuck and Sisters Mary and Mickey.        Memorial services will be held at 2 PM Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the Jones-Pearson Funeral Home with visitation held from 12pm – 2pm.  Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery.  To leave online condolences or view the tribute, please visit jonespearson.com.
